These days as the Sankat Mochan Kendra is closed, we are only doing the live Facebook Bhajans and Aratis usually from 6.30 PM to 7.30 PM daily except for Mondays and special days when we start at 6.00 PM. Bhajans are dedicated to the deities of the day as follows.

Monday - 6.00 PM to 7.25 PM - 108 Time recitation of Maha Mrityunjay Mantra and Shiva Bhajans followed by Aratis
Tuesdays - 6.30 to 7.25 PM - Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Chalisa Path and Hanuman Bhajans followed by Aratis
Wednesdays - 6.30 to 7.25 PM- Shri Ganesh Chalisa and Ganesh Bhajs followed by Aratis
Thursdays - 6.30 to 7.25 PM Shri Guru Bhajans and Aratis
Fridays - Durga Chalisa , Devi Bhajans followed by Aratis
Saturdays - 6.30 to 7.25 PM - Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Chalisa Path and Hanuman Bhajans followed by Aratis
Sundays - 6.30 to 7.25 PM - Multi - Faith Bhajans followed by Aratis
Usually Aratis start at 7.05 PM and Sunila performs the Aratis at the Background at Home. During this period we did perform 108 times recitation of Hanuman Chalisa on Hanuman Jayanti and Sunderkand Path on request by devotees. Shivratri is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. Shivaratri is the most important festival for the millions of devotees of Lord Shiva. It is believed that a devotee who performs sincere worship of Lord Shiva on the auspicious day of Shivratri is absolved of sins and attains moksha.
It is also believed that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married on this day. Mahashivratri Festival is also considered to be an extremely significant festival by women. Married and unmarried women observe fast and perform Shiva Puja with sincerity to appease Goddess Parvati who is also regarded as ‘Gaura’ - one who bestows marital bliss and long and prosperous married life. Unmarried women also pray for a husband like Lord Shiva who is regarded as the ideal husband.
